The 2007 Birmingham
Diversity Summit produced by the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and
Kaleidoscope Productions, Inc is themed, “Best Practices, Best Companies.” This
full day workforce diversity conference – the largest of its kind in the state
of Alabama - brings employers, business owners, nonprofit leaders and others
together for a full day of learning and sharing information related to workforce
diversity. This annual event consistently hosts more than 500 attendees and 50
vendors from the state of Alabama and surrounding states each year.
This year, we have narrowed the focus of the conference to issues specifically
related to practical benchmark solutions. Feedback from previous years’
attendees revealed a significant interest in best practices related to workforce
issues. So, we have tailored our program with our audience in mind. Expect to
find timely and relevant information that businesses can use immediately. Our
curriculum has been designed for savvy business professionals that have had some
exposure or interest in workforce diversity related issues such as women
empowerment, local generational issues, developing diversity councils, how to
achieve diversity on boards of directors and cutting edge retention strategies
and several other issues.
We hope that you will join us and hundreds of other professionals at the
2007 Birmingham Diversity Summit on
Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. People that attend this
conference expand their professional networks by meeting lots of new people that
they would not have otherwise met. We look forward to seeing you there!
